Garden Club attendees yesterday had a great time planting a variety of seeds in growing trays and propagators. The seeds planted included tomato, carrot, beetroot, cucumber, strawberry and herb seeds. In addition the children finished planting the fruit trees, which they started during the previous session. They also put out our brand new waterproof cushions for the outdoor classroom seating area. All attendees had a great time gardening in the beautiful weather alhamdulilah. 

Tomorrow our attending home-schooled children will have the opportunity to plant our variety of seeds into seed trays, and then in a few weeks they will be able to move the seedlings outdoors! Don’t miss out – register at tuitionclub.org/gardenclub or register on the day.

The home-schooled students that attended Garden Club last week had a great time exploring the variety of plants, seeds and bulbs that B&Q had on offer. They made some great purchases for our learning garden including seed potatoes, onions sets, tomato, carrot, beetroot, cucumber and strawberry seeds. They also bought a beautiful apple tree and one of our home-schooled parents kindly donated  a pear and plum tree.
