The Tuition Club Resumes & Ramadhaan 2016

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

The Tuition Club resumes tomorrow in shaa Allaah for the second half of the summer term.

All parents should have received a letter informing them of The Tuition Club’s timings in Ramadhaan. The opening hours during Ramadhaan will be 11am until 4pm, and we will be commencing with the new times as of Monday 6th June (tomorrow) in shaa Allaah.

We ask Allah that he allows us all to benefit from Ramadhaan.

The Tuition Club BBQ!

We are excited to announce that The Tuition Club will be hosting a BBQ on Thursday 26th May in shaa Allaah. All students, teachers, parents, family and friends are invited to join us for an afternoon of food and fun activities.

Maths Fun!

Students have been having great fun collecting data, and learning about bar and tally charts in their Maths lessons. They have produced great posters maa shaa Allaah, showcasing their results in chart form.

Summer Term!

The Tuition Club resumes tomorrow at 9.30am in shaa Allaah, for the start of an exciting summer term. We hope our students enjoyed their two week break, and we look forward to welcoming back our students both old and new.

Mountain Reward Charts!

This term has seen the introduction of our new mountain reward charts alhamdulillaah. The reward system at the Tuition Club is based on using a positive rewards based approach, wherein the removal of a reward is the disciplining element.

Lapbooks

Our Year 3 and 4 science students have been having great fun making lapbooks based on plant and animal habitats.

Lapbooking is a hands-on approach to learning, which has become very popular amongst homeschooling parents. They are a great way for children to be creative, whilst making an educational tool that they can use to review and revise important topics.
