Club Tuesday – Day 1

A great time was had by all home-schooled children that attended our various clubs on Tuesday Alhamdulillaah. The private sessions have been set up in order to further assist home schooling parents and their children fill in the gaps, as well as giving them the skills to aid them in their studies.

The clubs include Phonics & Reading Club, Study Skills Workshop and Kids Arabic Club. Read below to find out what our attendees learnt this week!

✍Children attending the Kids Arabic club revised key vocabulary from previous sessions, practised the Arabic alphabet and writing their own names.

📖During the Phonics & Reading Club children were assessed on their phonics and reading levels; this was then followed by a fun activity of making personalised bookmarks.

📚Whilst, in the Study Skills Workshop children learnt about the importance of study skills. Good study skills make it easier for students to learn a new language, take up a sport or hobby – or, later in life, to learn effectively during training and personal development courses for a job.

We look forward to next weeks sessions in shaa Allaah!
