Students develop understanding and learn about food and drink in Arabic!

Students have been learning about some of the most common words and phrases for food & drink in Arabic.

They participated in a fun engaging hands-on cooking activity which helped the children not only to learn the words and phrases but also aided in developing confidence in the children’s various skills and abilities.

With its own vocabulary, the cooking activity was a great opportunity to exercise language development. Children got to experience following a recipe by use of instructions. Opportunities were also given for using counting and measuring, following sequence and carrying out multiple directions all in the Arabic Language.
