Social and Emotional Development

Our young learners have been busy learning about positive social and emotional aspects during their circle time session which has aided them in developing their social skills, providing an opportunity to encourage communication and engagement.

This term they have been discussing areas such as learning about friendships and positive relationships which helps develop trust, empathy, compassion and a sense of right and wrong.

During circle time, the young learners talked about what they wanted in a friend and how they should behave with others as well as speaking about how to be good in character as this is one of the key principles which Islam teaches.
